Students must meet our Academic Entry Criteria. Each child provides:

  • One document from Category A, or

  • Two documents from Category B

All students are expected to behave respectfully so that everyone can enjoy a safe, positive learning environment. 

Uploading documents is a required step in the registration process. 

  • If something is missing, we’ll send you two reminder emails. 

  • If documents are not provided by 21 November, the application will need to be cancelled. 

Most families choose the upcoming school year (the year their child is entering). 

  • Example: A student entering Year 3 in 2026 may register for Year 3–4 workshops. 
  • If preferred, students who have just completed a year may register for the lower bracket. 

Programs run at the same time, so each child can attend only one program per three-day session. 

No. The January 2026 Student Programs will be held on campus at UNSW Kensington.

Because most programs sell out quickly, transfers can be difficult. If you’d like to request a change, we can place your child on a waitlist. If a place becomes available, we’ll do our best to accommodate the transfer.

Catering is not provided.

  • Junior Program students (Years 3–6): Please pack lunch and snacks each day.

  • Senior Program students (Years 7–10): Students may purchase lunch on campus (GERRIC does not manage or oversee food choices).

Yes. Parents can register for a free parent event when purchasing their child’s ticket. These are open only to parents of enrolled students.

  • Full refund: Requests received by 21 November 2025 

  • 50% refund: Requests received between 22 November – 20 December 2025 

  • After 20 December 2025: Refunds may be granted in exceptional cases (e.g., illness, family emergency, bereavement) with supporting documentation (such as a medical certificate). A $62 administration fee applies. 

  • Unfortunately, refunds cannot be processed after the event has taken place.
