This school-holiday program at UNSW is designed for gifted and talented students (top 10% of their age group) in Years 3–10.
Over three inspiring days, students:
- Dive into stimulating, hands-on topics

Key Dates for the 2027 Student Programs
- 21 September 2026 – January 2027 program update programs descriptions released
- 28 September 2026 – Rural and Equity Scholarship applications open
- 9 October 2026 – Rural and Equity Scholarship applications close
- 20 October 2026 – Scholarship applicants notified of outcomes
- 23 October 2026 – Deadline for successful applicants to accept scholarship offers
- 30 October 2026 – Final Scholarship places allocated to programs
- 3 November 2026 – General enrolments open – assessment of meeting academic criteria
- 13 November 2026 – General enrolments close and places offered, subject to availability
- 16-27 November 2026 – Waitlist-available places offered to families on programs’ waitlists
- 3 December 2026 – Parent and Participant Handbook released
- 19-21 January 2027 – Student Programs delivered at UNSW Kensington
Program Fee

$850 for a three-day program (includes materials and refreshments).

Food is not included (please provide morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea).

Transport and accommodation are not included.

Steps to Register
1. Prepare Your Documents

Check your child meets the Academic Entry Criteria.

2. Choose Your Program

Select a program that matches your child’s 2027 school year level.

Example: A student entering Year 3 in 2027 may register for a Year 3–4 program.
3. Complete Payment

Provide payment details to secure your child’s place.

You’ll first receive a payment confirmation email.
-
Once eligibility is checked, you’ll receive a final enrolment confirmation and program access.

Programs are set two years above school level, so your child is stretched and inspired.

Taught by experienced teachers (Years 3–6) and specialist experts (Years 7–8).
